Overview
Nut was the son of Shu and Tefnut, who in turn were children of Ra (or Atum), and the sister of Geb, whom she also married and was the mother of the gods Osiris, Isis, Nephthys and Set.
With Ra (or Atum), Shut, Tefnut, Osiris, Isis, Nephthys, Set and Horus they formed the Great Ennead of the Heliopolis cosmogony.
